Pedagogía empírica: historia del estilo APA como epistemología; instrucciones respecto a la preparación del manuscrito

La presente investigación parte de la noción de historia del libro y de la edición de Dalia Valdez Garza, quien, retomando a Robert Darnton, propone que el estudio de las revistas científicas debe centrarse en la forma editorial, la cual se constituye como una estructura que determina qué debe considerarse como conocimiento científico. A partir de ahí, se examina el documento Instructions in Regard to Preparation of Manuscript publicado en 1929 en la revista Psychological Bulletin, que constituye el antecedente más antiguo del Manual de Publicaciones de la American Psychological Association, texto difundido internacionalmente para la presentación de investigaciones en distintas ciencias y disciplinas. Se sostiene que el artículo instruccional contuvo una pedagogía que orientó a la psicología hacia el empirismo, tendencia que parece prevalecer en la actualidad, aunque expandida a las ciencias sociales y humanas.
