The objective of this article is to describe in a reflexive way the importance of the recovery and revaluation of local knowledge and knowledge in educational practice in the "Simón Bolivar" Educational Unit of Chacoma of the Patacamaya Educational District, through the reading of reality and dialogue with decolonial actors and authors in order to promote the recovery of ancestral knowledge in the educational process. In relation to the strategies implemented in the learning process, the results and findings found that only 40% of teachers promote the recovery of ancestral knowledge and knowledge through community reflections, presentation of thematic contents of the Regionalized Curriculum and research and production of knowledge in the educational community. In this way, it is important to implement innovative methodological strategies with a pedagogical impact to fully transform education, according to the needs of society, an education that is truly authentic and liberating in order to change Eurocentric educational structures and models for a productive and transformative educational model.
