Work-Based Learning (WBL) is a fundamental component of Technical Baccalaureate programs in Ecuador; however, its management faces limitations related to institutional coordination, academic monitoring, and the efficiency of administrative processes. This study aimed to design and implement a web platform for monitoring WBL in technical schools in the city of Cuenca, with the goal of optimizing the processes of assigning, monitoring, and evaluating pre-professional internships. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a technological focus and an applied design, supported by document review and the development of a software solution. The platform was designed using a client-server architecture, incorporating role-based access control and organizational rules to ensure process consistency. The results show that the system facilitates information centralization, improves the traceability of internships, and strengthens the collaboration between educational institutions and businesses. In conclusion, the platform is an effective tool for improving the administrative management and academic monitoring of WBL within the context of technical education.
