Environmental perspective and environmental behavior among higher education students in northern veracruz

In the context of the environmental crisis that began with the First Industrial Revolution and has been aggravated over the last century, the relationship between environmental perspective and environmental behavior must play a pivotal and strategic role in higher education institutions to ensure that their students are equipped not only with the technical skills necessary to practice their profession but also with the values that distinguish responsible citizens. This paper focuses on determining whether students' environmental knowledge is reflected in pro-environmental behaviors, considering the gap between what students know and that they do, establishing evaluation objectives to understand the existing relationship and promote educational strategies that strengthen a culture of sustainability among future professionals, considering its impact on the present and the future.
