Intervenciones de enfermería para prevenir infecciones asociadas a la Atención de Salud en Hospitales Latinoamericanos: protocolo de Revisión Sistemática de métodos mixtos con énfasis en Ecuador

Las infecciones asociadas a la atención de salud (IAAS) representan un riesgo significativo para la seguridad del paciente y requieren intervenciones hospitalarias adaptadas al contexto. Este protocolo tiene como objetivo estructurar una revisión sistemática de métodos mixtos sobre intervenciones preventivas y de control de IAAS con participación explícita de enfermería en hospitales de América Latina, con énfasis en Ecuador. La revisión seguirá PRISMA-P para el protocolo, y el informe final adoptará PRISMA 2020 y PRISMA-S. Se buscarán artículos originales publicados desde 2016 en siete fuentes bibliográficas. La evidencia cuantitativa se sintetizará narrativamente mediante SWiM, sin metaanálisis; la evidencia cualitativa se analizará mediante síntesis temática y se integrará con los hallazgos cuantitativos mediante un enfoque convergente segregado. La calidad metodológica se evaluará con MMAT y herramientas JBI según el diseño del estudio. Al tratarse de un protocolo, no se presentan resultados empíricos.
