Impacto del desempeño del equipo de enfermería en la efectividad del protocolo clave roja ante hemorragia obstétrica en hospitales de Ecuador: una revisión sistemática

La hemorragia obstétrica continúa siendo una de las principales causas de muerte materna en el mundo y un desafío prioritario para la salud pública en Ecuador. Ante esta problemática, el protocolo Clave Roja busca estandarizar la respuesta clínica mediante la activación rápida de equipos multidisciplinarios. El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar el impacto del desempeño del equipo de enfermería en la efectividad del protocolo Clave Roja en hospitales ecuatorianos. Se realizó una revisión sistemática conforme a las directrices PRISMA 2020, abarcando publicaciones entre 2020 y 2025 en bases de datos internacionales y regionales. De 612 registros iniciales, se seleccionaron 20 estudios que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión. Los resultados muestran que la detección temprana, la comunicación efectiva y la capacitación continua del personal de enfermería se asocian con una reducción significativa de la morbilidad materna y mejores tiempos de respuesta. La evidencia indica que el liderazgo enfermero y la simulación interprofesional son factores determinantes para la adherencia al protocolo y la calidad asistencial. Se concluye que el fortalecimiento de las competencias técnicas y organizativas del equipo de enfermería mejora la efectividad del protocolo Clave Roja y contribuye a la seguridad materna en el contexto hospitalario ecuatoriano.
