This article aims to analyze traditionalism in the contemporary era and its influence on values, cultural practices, and public discourses through a systematic review of scientific literature. The study adopts a qualitative approach with a documentary, non-experimental, and retrospective design, without the generation of primary data. The processes of identification, selection, and analysis of studies were conducted in accordance with the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, ensuring methodological transparency and traceability. The findings indicate that traditionalism should not be understood as a static or residual phenomenon, but rather as a dynamic process of resignification that interacts with modernity, globalization, and institutional change. The reviewed literature highlights its persistent influence on the configuration of social values, the reproduction and transformation of cultural practices, and its growing problematization within public discourses, particularly in the educational field and teacher training. The study concludes that traditionalism continues to play a relevant role in articulating cultural continuity and social transformation in contemporary societies.
