Redes de apoyo familiar y su contribución a la inclusión de niños con discapacidad: una revisión sistemática

Las redes de apoyo familiar son fundamentales para el proceso de inclusión de los niños con discapacidad. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la evidencia científica existente con respecto al aporte de las redes de apoyo familiar a los procesos de inclusión. Se utilizó la guía PRISMA y se realizó una búsqueda en las bases Scopus, Web of Science y SciELO. Tras el proceso de selección, se incluyeron en el análisis 16 estudios empíricos publicados entre los años 2022 y 2025. Los resultados evidenciaron que las redes de apoyo familiar potencian el bienestar y la resiliencia familiar, favorecen un trabajo colaborativo entre familia-escuela-profesionales, y promueven la participación y empoderamiento familiar en los procesos educativos. Las barreras fueron determinadas por la falta de disponibilidad de recursos, la escasa coordinación interinstitucional, y la existencia de prácticas excluyentes. Se concluye señalando que para potenciar las redes de apoyo es necesario contar con políticas públicas inclusivas e intersectoriales que garanticen el acceso oportuno a apoyos especializados y fomenten la participación activa de las familias en el proceso.
