Entorno PEST en el turismo rural mexicano: gobernanza, economía circular y digitalización sostenible

Este trabajo examina cómo el entorno político, económico, social y tecnológico ordena la sostenibilidad del turismo rural en México. Se realizó un estudio cualitativo documental con 16 artículos (2019–2025) seleccionados por muestreo teórico-intencionado. El análisis PEST muestra una secuencia operativa: arreglos políticos que coordinan y dan certidumbre; modelos económicos anclados en capacidades locales y economía circular; capital social que traduce políticas en conducta; y digitalización orientada a trazabilidad y eficiencia. La matriz resultante vincula evidencia y decisión, ofreciendo un criterio de priorización. Se propone una hoja de ruta para destinos rurales basada en gobernanza colaborativa, portafolios agro-turísticos circulares, formación ambiental y mapas de adopción tecnológica con métricas.
